2007 Monterrey Exhibition

The 2007 Monterrey Forum did moreover show 16 amazing shows, that permitted the members to encounter the subjects and concerns of the advanced world through an intuitive encounter. Numerous of the Forum Exhibitions were arranged and made as they were for this occasion.

The exhibition that was conducted at the occasion was Isis and the Feathered Serpent, generated by Miguel Angel Fernandez and commissioned by Zahi Hawass, an archaeologist, egyptologist, and former Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs, and in addition, he has been through archaeological sites in the Nile Delta, the upper Nile Valley, and the Western Desert. The other person that curated along with Z.Hawass was Eduardo Matos, a Mexican archaeologist from 1978 up to 1982, who has been administered digging deep at the Templo Mayor, the abbess of a huge Aztec pyramid in central Mexico City. Both archaeologists presented this exhibition in Nave Lewis Exposition Centre. Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, the designer and creator of the National School of Medicine, the Estadio Azteca, the Museum of Anthropology and History, the Fine Arts Medal, the Museum of Modern Art the Legislative Palace of San Lazaro, the Basilica of Guadaplace and UNAM, also awarded architect by the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA). The architect also produced America Migration that was conducted in the East Wing of the Nave Lewis Expositions Centre.This presentation looked to depict the circumstances of relocation, from ancient times to the present day.

Buda Guanyin: Treasures of Compassion participated for the first time in an event that took place out of China. In the exhibition, around 150 pieces of Buddha were shown in the Museum of Mexican History. There was also another museum that was involved in this exhibition of the Universal Forum event, the Steelworks Museum : Furnace No.3. It is a modern and recently established museum and was centred on one of the primary regions of Mexican industrial history, as this museum is very communal and bilateral, the Alto Horno 3 (High Furnace No. 3) was one of the main support and pillar to Fundidora Steelwork Company. This advance new -tech involvement will reproduce the antiquated craftsmanship of steel production, a long-aged Monterrey convention.

Artist Alenjandro Santiago, a mexican painter and sculptor also famously known for his monument art piece 2501 Migrantes. Around the year of 2002, he came to realize his objective of creating an art piece that represents migrants that took off from village lifestyle in urban and rural regions in Mexico to be able to attain jobs in the US. Santiago created 2501 Migrantes, just from clay, with the assistance from Rockefeller Foundation and a group that has more than 30 workforces.
